I*m coming back

I*m sitting here watching the new Dane Cook: isolated incident on comedy centeral & I*m so tired. I was doing a little surfing and i found some awesome new supplies! So there will be new jewelry coming very soon. Jay asked me to make him a necklace so I*ll be doing that on thursday. I dont really make guy jewelry but i do a little for my brother so i thought I*d make Jay one on Thursday. I*m going to be doing a little more elegant jewelry. I*m coming out of my comfort zone & diving in, it doesnt help to be scared all the time right? Please stay tued for updates next week. I*m trying to get everything together to promote & make new things. I*m going to hold off on the zipper pouches for a few weeks. I was looking at new beads & what not & i figured out how much i missed my jewelry making!

I haven't decided if we are going to the beach or not. Everyone still wants to but its supposed to rain & i dont want to camp in the rain ya know. I haven't updated in a few days because i have been spending a lot of time at Jay*s. His little nieces are so precious! I didnt feel good Sunday so Skyler & Jay layed on the couch with me & watched "meet the Robinsons", well Skyler did, jay fell asleep. I woke up beside him this morning & he was so sweet, it was a beautiful morning. :)

On a personal note: IM NO LONGER UNEMPLOYEED! Yup, my old boss called me today asking if i wanted my job back. He said he had a spot open for cashier or the copy center { It*s Staples}. He told me he*d hold off on hiring anyone for the cashier position since i wanted to the Copy Center position & while i was training for the copy center he would give me a few cashier shifts to make some money. :D We went to my cousins house last night & watched "Bride Wars". It was so cute, if you have a chance you should see it.

My 2 cents..

With my 2nd venture into resin, i casted a few things that didn't make it. *R.I.P* innocent little teddy grams! I did however make a pendant. I thought it wasnt going to turn out because i was looking at it through the bottom of the mold & it looked a skewed, maybe because i didn have in my contacts..hmm..now i wonder if i was looking at it at all? tehehe!! I call it my 2 cents pendant. The star pendant includes 2 really shiny pennies & some red & gold glitter. I thought it would enchance the color of the copper pennies. The star pendant is 1.5" from top point to bottom point & a little shy of 2"w from left point to right point. It*s so cool! I*m really proud of this one, as it is my first try at embedding items. I think resin & i are going to be really good friends. I*ll be adding it soon to etsy but as of right now it can only be found at www.UniqueCharm.net.

Resin & redecoration

So i tried some resin casting last night, i was so excited to see how it turned out. Although i knew it would probley bomb because this was the first time I*d ever tried it & i eyeballed the measurements. All day i thought about how they*d turn out, or if they*d even come out of the molds. When i got home i ate & i decided to try my hand at taking them out. To my surprise it was really easy. Thus another set of hair pins where born. I made a few sets so therefore i kept a set for myself. I tried casting somethings a little while ago but it seems i need more practice with that because they didnt work. BUT i did make a new batch of something :X :P You*ll see tomorrow night if all goes well.

As for dad, {thanks to everyone who commented!} he is out of the hospital as of last night & he is no longer bleeding. They changed the bands on his esophagus. He is supposed to go every so many months to get them reset & to get new ones & he was coming up on another appointment so they just went ahead and did it. They still do not know where the bleeding is coming from, but they also found he has restless leg syndrome that is why he never sleeps. Mom did her redecorating for fall yesterday as well.

Justin & I didn*t sleep good at all last night. His tummy hurt so he tossed & turned all night & he kept waking me up. I didn't feel good yesterday so when i got home from work so i layed down & watched tv. I didn't really do anything. I*ve got a sinus infection. guhhh. BUT i did get a lot of goodies yesterday, that i turned into awesome treats for you guys! You can find all 4 on UniqueCharm.net. I*ll be adding them to UniqueCharm.etsy.com within the week. Justin was off all weekend but we really didn*t do anything. Last night we had all intentions of seeing a late movie but drove all the way to the theater & decided since it was pretty outside we*d go get ice cream & walk the square. All i had was my phone to take photo's because we had no idea we would be out & about. I love our phones though. We have the Sony Ericsson w580i's. Justin is black & orange & mine is pink. {of course} They have the sharpest camera's available & they are so clear. We got the 1 gig memory stick's, so i have 325 songs in rotation on the mp3 player. :P LOVE IT! We walked & talked & ended up going to Old Navy for a little shopping. They were having the $14.92 sale all weekend. Woohoo!! I*m so glad we are caught up on everything now. I*m also contemplating a new line for Unique Charm. :P {The panoramic view of the square. In other news, we maybe adding an additional member to our little "family". Justin & I were thinking about it & even though Ruppert {aka Roo} is a lot of work to keep up with {mainly because he is spoild} we thought about getting him a little buddy. It would be a boy of course because i can in no way raise little baby chinchilla's. We were thinking of naming the little guy "Peeka". If you've seen how chinchilla's sleep when they are standing up they look like PeekaChew. {the pokemon guy} We haven't fully made a decision yet because the little guys have went way up since we got Roo. We will keep you informed! Meanwhile, here are new pictures of king fuzzy face.

Sleep Deprived But Full Of Idea's.

I finally got a moment to rest. I*ve been so busy with work the last few days to focus on anything else. I*m doing a design scheme for a wedding in November. I*m excited the lady asked! Her planner bailed out & since she knows my mom designs & consults & mom has taken me on she called mom to ask me. She's doing it in light fall colors I*m so excited! Justin & I watched "Untraceable" this morning & went to bed at 4am. The movie was great! NOT for the weak tummies though.

I*ll also be adding a new line oh say the mid to end of October. I*m not going to post all the items in my etsy shop but you can find them on UniqueCharm.net. I dont want to post a piece at a time so I*m going to have a little stock before i add them. I*ll keep you posted. It's going to be different & well...Unique :P

I dont have to long to post because I*m going to a poker tournament tonight. Wish me luck!

Alot To Do About Nothing.

I*ve been so busy the last few days i havent had a chance to update. I need for you guys to help me by taking my poll. I*m getting a few new idea's & i need help figureing out what i*m going to turn them into. Should i make more earrings or should i start making key chains as well? Since work is picking up a little im usually pretty busy except for on the weekends. But i want to have a lottle variety. I think you guys will be pleased with the new features because its not all clay & crystals. I*m uping it notch, i found some super cute stuff on ebay shops. I bought a few to se how they do, i think they*ll rock. They really reflect my personality. I dont want to give to much away but i think you guys will like them too.

Mom & I went to South Carolina yesterday to do some consulting. We drove for 7 1/2 hours total for an hour of talking & meeting if that. They knew what they wanted. lol it was fun though i only got us lost 2 times! { that was right down the street from the apartment} Those inner & outter beltlines are a little tricky. :P I got us there & got us home thats all that mattered. Justin has been on vaca since last Saturday & he was supposed to go but he has this new job hes mom is trying to get him with her & he had to have in all of his paperwork yesterday. We thought he had 3 weeks. Anyhoo that got done & everything is fine. I got Viva Pinata for the DS tonight so im going to lay back & play that for a few minutes. I*m pooped! I cant wait until tomorrow when i get home from work i can sleep for hours on end! woohoo!! :P

Raindrops Are Falling On My Head.

Although it has rained all day i love this weather! It*s only gotten to be 70* & the rain is really making it feel cooler. I like summer time & everything but i can not wait for the fall/winter. It was really hot yesterday but for some reason all i wanted to drink was coffee. I picked up some when Justin & I went shopping. He likes the hazelnut cinnamon I like it too but sometimes i just want to keep it simple you know. I was looking around & i ordered some "Da Vinci" blend. My aunt told me about the site where i am getting it & she said she has ordered a few & they are different but good. We shall see when it gets here. Mom, Justin & I were supposed to go to South Carolina today to do a little consulting. We wanted Justin to drive because we are both terrible at directions. He went to court to pay the seatbelt yada yada we got a few months ago when the cop stopped us. We did have on our seatbelts {safty first!} but he told us we put them on & he was just an ass. He jerked Justin's paperwork out of his hand & threw the ticket in the window then sped off throwing gravel all over my car!

I added a few new charms to UniqueCharm.net. I*ll add a few of them to UniqueCharm.etsy but .net is doing a slight bit better than etsy & the etsy fee's are killing me. The link referral sites are helping i believe. I tried to keep the layouts simple but have a little jazz to them & everybody didnt like them. So i just went back to a simple layout, which so far seems to be helping. No one is rating me bad for speed & navigational distress. ;D I*ll be adding more clay charms soon I wasn't here this time last year so i'm not exactly sure how to go about the holiday's. If anyone could give me advice that would be nice. :P

Three New Items

I added some new items, well a set really. I think they*re cute! I made my little cousin a pair. They're so girly. You can wear them with an outfit out everyday, they*re just cute! These are the other two items i added.

I slept my butt off Thursday night, i didnt hear Justin until he slammed the bathroom door & turned on all the lights in the apartment at 5:30am this morning. Sometime this weekend i need to sit down & think up some goals for UniqueCharm. Some day's i just dont have time though, there isnt enough hours in the day & the time i do have I*m usually promoting. For those of you who have a website what else do you do? Where do you advertise? I*ve been thinking of getting the laser window decals so i can make a promo sticker for my car. Has anyone done this is it effective? I got really cute stickers from CeeJay! I bought 2 Hibiscus Flower Decal for my side view mirrors. I*ve had so many compliments on them, she also sent the bird decal for free so she is on my rear view.

Just Keep Swimming...

Finally a day to sit down and relax. I*ve been so busy lately it feels good to have a little time to do what i want. I*m so sore! Yesterday Justin & I went with his parents, his little brother & other friends to the lake. I tried my hand at wake boarding again, my arms are so sore. Justin makes it look so easy! We were swimming around after we had eaten lunch & a fish kept running into Justin. lol I*m scared of snakes so i said nope I*m done. :P

I*m working on some new designs for my t shirts & things. I*ve been waiting to do this all week. I made up a new idea last night & pitched it to Justin. He thinks its a good idea & he said he wanted a shirt the same as that one. Since I*m off tomorrow too i need to do some promoting. I think I*m going to drop my website. I dont have enough time to do it, etsy, blog, & to make stuff. If anyone outside of etsy wants an item you can feel free to e-mail me directly asking for the item & we will go from there. Some people have said they don*t want to sign up they just want the items. lol works for me.I*m plotting so hopefully in the next few days I*ll be adding something new! :) Keep a look out.

Work's For Me!

Today has been so busy! I got home last night & Justin had rearranged my office space & the living room. I think it looks good, something new for a change. Speaking of change i got a new car today! I got to moms house at 7:30am & we were going to get the tags , title & plate for the car so i could get it from the dealership then to work by 10am. Yeah, it would have been great if it happened like that. We went to do the final paperwork for the car at 8am then went to the DMV to get all the goodies that come with getting a new car. I only brought $150 because thats what the guy told me to bring. I get to the DMV & its $170. I call my brother ask him if i could borrow the money until i get off work. He lets me i jet to BMW, the ATM, then back to BMW to return his debit card. I sit at the DMV forever it seems! Then I*m finally at work at 12pm! I worked my butt off at work too, im so tired. I didnt sleep good last night because i had taken Roo with me when i went out of town & he was cozy at home last night making all sorts of noise last night while i was trying to sleep! I*ve gotta be at moms in the morning at 9am so I*m going to go to bed early & pass out.

I went to sign the papers on the car this afternoon. I got it!! yay!! My mom went with me & we went for a drive after everything was said & done. She said "i dont know why you need something this fast, stop playing with the cd player! look at the road, slow down!" I*m not so sure about her but i had fun. Now.. All i have to do is get a job, & do so before everyone gets outta school. I may look for a full time desk job, that way i can exercise my etsy addiction. Speaking of which..

I made some sticker*s today! When i got home to my surprise i had made a sale. I re listed those then off the bat made some addicted to etsy stickers & posted them up. They sold after the 3rd view. I re listed the stickers i sold this morning & i also made a new set a few minutes ago. I must say i love photo shop & all its greatness! See the newbies...

Story Of A Girl

It*s pretty outside, yesterday all it did was rain. I was so proud of myself though, i didnt take a nap at all! Justin & I didn*t go to bed until 4:30am this morning & we woke up around 10am. We don*t sleep anymore. I*m always thinking of new idea*s & hes always playing video games. I mus say I*ve become more involved with my site. Now that ive finally got it together i think it looks way better & its not to cluttered.

Last night i stitched a spring clutch. I love how these insulated clutches feel. They*re soft & they*re not flimsy at all. check it out:
I bought Justin a cute shirt yesterday. He was looking at it day before yesterday & he kept thumbing through the page so as a surprise i got him this. It*s adorable! This guy is awesome, we were his first customers! He sent stickers & he also sent me an extra shirt when i bought Justin this one. I think he will like it.

Remember to Breathe

Some weekend! If it*s not one thing its another.. Justin & I are both out of cars. lol Yup! Needless to say we*re so stressed out we can barely see.Friday morning we went to the shop to pick up his car thats been there for a month 1/2 because they had to wait on a part, Sitting at a stop light we both get smashed into by this lady that was late for a meeting. She totalled all 3 of our cars. So...lol now we have nothing to drive at all. My mom let us borrow her new car, but its going back this afternoon. I love it! It*s the new honda accord, pretty sweet I*d reccomind it. I*m hoping Justin*s boss wont get mad & fire him because we have no clue how long this is going to take. We havent been able to talk to our insurance companies because it*s the weekend. On a much sadder note my great grandmother died yesterday afternoon. The wake is tonight & the funneral is. tomrrow. She had been very sick for a very long time. I was thinking about all the things she*s seen in her lifetime. She was 102 years old. Theres probley much she hasnt seen.

My best friend Jen finally came home from the hospital yesterday. I feel like a terriable God mother! I havent even seen the baby yet. Everyone says shes adorable. Jen had to get a C section - she*s not happy. She*s like "Leslie all the women walking around here look A LOT happier than i do, i can barely move". She*s so pittiful hehe. Her & her husband have wanted a baby for so long. I was so excited when she found out. She*ll be a good mommy. Katelyn*s going to be SPOILD though! whew...

Since I*m feeling so chatty - i made a new pouch yesterday. Since i made my little cousin a pencil pouch out of the last flower fabric i got more & made one to sell. Instead of using the iron on velcro stuff i hand stitched it. Let me tell you, you*ve gotta have a lot of time! My thumb & index finger hurt so bad! lol I think it*s cute though. I did the line stitch so it doesnt look tacky. I also added A LOT of new stuff to www.UniqueCharm.net .Here is a glimps of the items ive added to www.UniqueCharm.net
