October Recap!

I thought i would do a recap of October. It was a busy month as far as trying new things & adding new pieces go. I*ve had a lot of fun & met a lot of really nice people this month. I also wanted to take a second to thank everyone who helped me meet my goal for October! I*m starting to venture into new elements & it's fun experimenting i must admit. I*m thinking of doing a contest soon, i was wondering if anyone would want to donate some items & I*d stretch out the giveaway through the weeks. Easy Like, Monday Morning.

Justin & I went to bed really late this morning around 3:15am. I woke up at 9:45am to get some things done. I had to get a bracelet for a bracelet i sold a few days ago to ship it off with some other things. When i got back Justin was getting ready to take a shower so i packaged a few more things waiting for him. We decided to go to Ihop to eat because neither of us have been there in forever. Justin over ordered like he always does so he didn't eat his hamburger & fri's. {he got eggs & pancakes too, he was torn between breakfast or lunch.} We were leaving & there was a homeless man sitting under a tree just looking around so i handed Justin his left over food & told him to take it to the man. I*ve had a strange couple of day's so i decided to cease the moment & do something nice. After we left we were on our way to the mall to get something for Justin's moms birthday which is Wednesday. They have a lot of new shops that have only been there a few weeks with some very awesome finds! Since rent is due next week i couldn't get anything, i found a secret stash of beads & what nots though. :X We have been really productive since it's only 3:30. On the way home i noticed the clouds in the sky looked strange. I think they looked pretty cool.

Water Works!

I didn't really think it made a different for the soft drinks you drink, i*ve been drinking green tea with citrus & water for the past few days & I*ve lost 3lbs. I noticed this morning {when mom asked} if i was jogging. {I thought about it. :P} But i told her i*d changed my drinking habits. Last week when i went with my brother to the mall & he got a water instead of a soft drink i asked why he opted for water. He said it's all he drinks, well that and beer. He*s always been really skinny though i just thought he worked out. {That was squished on Saturday when i showed up at 2pm & he was in his jammies laying on the couch eating a huge Arby's sandwich with Arby's sauce all over his face.} Mom & I have a quiet week this week so I*m going to try to get some things done. I*m trying to save money to get a sewing machine. I know they are expensive, does anyone have any suggestions? A basic one would be nice but then again I*m wondering if i get a little complex i want it to be able to handle it too.

I*m going to have to look for scarfs because its starting to get chilly.

Random Ramble

Today has been dragging on forever! Have youever had one of those days? We*ve done a lot of nothing all day though which has been awesome, i even took an hour 1/2 to take a nap. I as going to get started on the charms I*m sending for the Out Of The Box Sampler but i ran out of clay. It smells like pumpkin pie in here though, yum yum!! I did manage to get 4 done. heh, i need to order more business cards too. I*ve got a few more left but i wont have any by the time i get these charms done. I am sad to say though - the resin piece i tried last night didnt work as i planned & it*s ok. I can't expect everything to go right all the time. I don't really have a point to day's random ramble but i just thought I*d update because I*m in a talkative mood & Justin is playing video games. I*m going to play with Ruppert, i know he will hang out & watch some tv with me. I hope everyone had a good weekend!

It dawned on me today that Christmas is only 69 days away! I was listening to Bob & The Showgram on G105 this morning on the way to moms house for work. Justin was talking of going to the fair Saturday or Sunday. There's going to be so many people there though! Last year John, Ashley, Justin & Myself went to the fair & Justin won me Artie. I love care bears so he is perfect!

Today was 87* but tomorrow is supposed to be in the low 60*s for the duration of next week. This weekend i intend to so some Christmas shopping & also i may try to make some new items. I*ve added an item a day everyday this week. I*ve felt so good the past few days because ive gotten more than 6 hours of sleep. I wake up & i want to get up not go back to bed & call it a day. I want to start taking a multivitem....only thing is.. i cant swollow pills. Does anyone know of any vitamins i could take that are chewable or dissolve? :P It's silly i know i just cant do it.

Resin & redecoration

So i tried some resin casting last night, i was so excited to see how it turned out. Although i knew it would probley bomb because this was the first time I*d ever tried it & i eyeballed the measurements. All day i thought about how they*d turn out, or if they*d even come out of the molds. When i got home i ate & i decided to try my hand at taking them out. To my surprise it was really easy. Thus another set of hair pins where born. I made a few sets so therefore i kept a set for myself. I tried casting somethings a little while ago but it seems i need more practice with that because they didnt work. BUT i did make a new batch of something :X :P You*ll see tomorrow night if all goes well.

As for dad, {thanks to everyone who commented!} he is out of the hospital as of last night & he is no longer bleeding. They changed the bands on his esophagus. He is supposed to go every so many months to get them reset & to get new ones & he was coming up on another appointment so they just went ahead and did it. They still do not know where the bleeding is coming from, but they also found he has restless leg syndrome that is why he never sleeps. Mom did her redecorating for fall yesterday as well.

I*ve been working on the website a lot today. I was also busy last night. I had so much energy i didnt know what to do. Since i got my scent shipments in yesterday i decided to make my charms! It has a velcro closure & is extremely roomy. Just a quick post for today. Justin is off work so him & I are going down to the lake in the apartment complex & feed the geese.

Burn It Down. ;P

I was totally exhausted when i got home from work this afternoon. Today Justin was off work so he woke up around 2pm i got home at 4pm & did a few house chores then laid on the couch & took a nap while he played video games. I*m excited! I*ve made a hair appointment for tomorrow I*m thinking of trying a shorter do? I think it could be fun. For some reason I*m in total revamp for myself & the apartment. I*m painting our room & maybe doing the bathroom as well. I*m going either tomorrow or Saturday to get paint swatches. I can't decide what color i want though. We are doing an accent wall in the dinning room. I want it to be like a burgundy color because that way it*ll match everything I*m putting in it. :P I*m tired of looking at the same stuff ya know? I*m going to move the dinning room around a little & put some of the extra stuff {i.e filing cabinets} in our room under the desk {where it belongs}. I don*t want to move my craft bins in our room because i dont want Roo getting into them & getting hurt. I*d be so hurt if i let him out & he got into my clay or something.

I*m trying to come up with a new line to add for the middle of next week. I have SO many idea's but i*m a little short on a HUGE tool i need. So, I*ve decided to try & improvise. We shall see how that goes in a few days when i try. If it fails then I*ll have to wait just a little longer. Since I*m adding an item a day {for a few days} here is today's item.

I*ve been busy since yesterday creating & putting everything together. I*m so excited! I*ve got so much for you guys! Everything is new with a slightly different feel. Justin & I didn*t sleep good at all last night. His tummy hurt so he tossed & turned all night & he kept waking me up. I didn't feel good yesterday so when i got home from work so i layed down & watched tv. I didn't really do anything. I*ve got a sinus infection. guhhh. Justin was off all weekend but we really didn*t do anything. Last night we had all intentions of seeing a late movie but drove all the way to the theater & decided since it was pretty outside we*d go get ice cream & walk the square. All i had was my phone to take photo's because we had no idea we would be out & about. I love our phones though. We have the Sony Ericsson w580i's. Justin is black & orange & mine is pink. {of course} They have the sharpest camera's available & they are so clear. We got the 1 gig memory stick's, so i have 325 songs in rotation on the mp3 player. :P LOVE IT! We walked & talked & ended up going to Old Navy for a little shopping. They were having the $14.92 sale all weekend. Woohoo!! I*m so glad we are caught up on everything now. I*m also contemplating a new line for Unique Charm. :P {The panoramic view of the square. In other news, we maybe adding an additional member to our little "family". Justin & I were thinking about it & even though Ruppert {aka Roo} is a lot of work to keep up with {mainly because he is spoild} we thought about getting him a little buddy. It would be a boy of course because i can in no way raise little baby chinchilla's. We were thinking of naming the little guy "Peeka". If you've seen how chinchilla's sleep when they are standing up they look like PeekaChew. {the pokemon guy} We haven't fully made a decision yet because the little guys have went way up since we got Roo. We will keep you informed! Meanwhile, here are new pictures of king fuzzy face.

Better Together

I was being nosy looking through some blogs. I decided to see what Stela had going on yesterday. She had a couple { no pun intended ;D } quiz {see below}. It is only supposed to be in the 70*s all week, according to the accu-weather 7 day forecast. {maybe they*ll get it right?} Today is one of those days where you just want to be outside. It feels sooo good! I love fall, im usually not this excited about the changing of the season. It*s been so hot here lately. Justin loves it because he is from Texas & he is use to it. lol Not me! Pieces Of Me

I was so tired when i got home last night. I did so much work yesterday! After so we had a cook out at my moms. The drive way looked like a parking lot there was so many of us there. My aunt came with my little cousins & she had went shopping yesterday morning so she bought us matching Liz Claiborne purses. I love it! they are tan & not to small but not to big, just right. Everyone had fun we stayed forever!

I had a doctor appointment today to get the problem solved with the dizzy feeling i feel when i get really hot or when i stand up really quick. I have BPPV also known as Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo. I also got my anxiety attack medication filled. I hardly ever take them though so they last forever.

I re listed the "Pieces Of Me" Bracelet. I love this bracelet because it*s so colorful & eye catching. It*s really fun to make i love playing with mine. Everyone loves it around here too thats the main reason i cant keep them in. I*m trying to make a few things & trying not to sell over 5 or 6 of the same pieces. I want them to stay unique.

I love BodyBeautiful*s shop! I just found it she also has a few other shops. You should swing by & pick up some bubblegum lip balm. I bought some & LOVE IT! Her Gourmet Soaps look just like real food! Stop by for some 0 calorie eye candy.

Slide It

I decided to use Slide.com to my advantage. I put all my photo's in the slide with the name & what the item costs. I placed it on my web site as a photo gallery. So now people can either search through the categories or go to the gallery & see all the pieces to see if they're interested. I*m trying to get my website out there still. It*s so hard to keep up with Etsy & UC.net. I have no yet taken the traffic off line yet though. I*m trying to get more stock so i'll have more to offer. If gas ever goes down I'll be doing free drop off.

Just Keep Swimming...

Finally a day to sit down and relax. I*ve been so busy lately it feels good to have a little time to do what i want. I*m so sore! Yesterday Justin & I went with his parents, his little brother & other friends to the lake. I tried my hand at wake boarding again, my arms are so sore. Justin makes it look so easy! We were swimming around after we had eaten lunch & a fish kept running into Justin. lol I*m scared of snakes so i said nope I*m done. :P

I*m working on some new designs for my t shirts & things. I*ve been waiting to do this all week. I made up a new idea last night & pitched it to Justin. He thinks its a good idea & he said he wanted a shirt the same as that one. Since I*m off tomorrow too i need to do some promoting. I think I*m going to drop my website. I dont have enough time to do it, etsy, blog, & to make stuff. If anyone outside of etsy wants an item you can feel free to e-mail me directly asking for the item & we will go from there. Some people have said they don*t want to sign up they just want the items. lol works for me.I*m plotting so hopefully in the next few days I*ll be adding something new! :) Keep a look out.

Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood

The last few days have been so busy there is barely enough time in the day to get things done. I got up this morning feeling so good & so refreshed, however i didnt want to go to work. :) (tough) I got to work around 9am, got home at like 4pm, not bad. I must say i love my car! It*s so small & cute i just love it. I took more pictures while i was waiting for my mom to get her crap together this morning. ( i altered the last photo a little :] )After i got off work Justin & i went with his parents to the lake, the sun wasnt bad i can feel i got a little on my shoulders & face but nothing to bad to where it hurts to move. Justin & his brother were wake boarding, his brother hasnt got the hang of it yet but Justin makes it look effortless. While his brother was trying on his go's Justin asked if i wanted to try ski'ing. I told him i wanted to try my hand at the wakeboard & he said he thought I*d be better off with the ski's & not worry about the board. lol thats what motivates me the most is someone telling me what i can*t do...so yeah...my first try i got up, stayed up & crused around. :P They were so proud. We had a lot of fun.
I bought the coolest tags from scraptasticsupplies a few days ago. I was sent WAY more than i paid for! They*re so awesome though, I*m using them as promo tools. I also added their shop name on the front of the tags letting the person know who made them. As for me I*ll be adding new items starting the middle to end of next week. I*m paying mom back this week for everything she helped me with. We*ve got some bills due next week but I*ll see what i can do. I miss all my items! I went from almost 50 to low twenties.I*m tired so I*m going to hang out with the chinchilla but hey dont forget the offers i have going on!
