I've had a productive day today. I've got a migrain so i wont be attending the Attracting the Fall show tonight. Instead i've spent all day designing & making 2 new tank tops & redid my webpage to get it up & running. I give you the new Unique Charm! Yay for fabric!

I*ve been sitting around the house all day, i need to get all my stuff off my floor & hang my clothes up & get them in my closet. It*s beautiful outside & I*ve had the window open all day, it*s getting hotter though. I*ve been in a fairly creative mood today. I made my first key chain. It*s a snarky smiley face. :P I had to sacrifice a throw pillow to stuff it though. I*ll post the picture when i add his ring.

I pulled out some fabric ive been holding out on forever & I*m going to attempt a new way to make zipper pouches. Mom bought me an awesome sewing machine for Christmas & I*ve been scared to play with it. I did do the few pouches i have listed but it was nerve racking because if i cut my felt it wouldn't fit into the pouch. Today im being adventurous, whats the worst that can happen? I*ll just have to cut a few stitches out. Hopefully these little cuties will make it into the etsy shop & UC.net. I*ll only have 1 kitty pouch though, i made my little cousin a pencil pouch when i got the fabric.

Lessons In Blythe

I know there are a lot of people out there with Blythe's. I intend to get one soon. {if i can stop buying clothes & things} These dolls are getting more popular these days. They are so cool with their different colored eyes & the many different things you can do to customize them as your own. I*ve also noticed that almost all of them have more personality than some people. Hints why I*ve created my new sticker set. These can be put on anything you*d like. Let it be known your Blythe has more personality!


I*m gathering up supplies for new idea's that wont stop running through my crowded cranium. You*ll be seeing those next month. As of this month i dont know if any new items will be added. :o) I overspent & now i have to save up a little bit more than a lot of money for rent due next week. You know how it is! Perfect day for Christmas Shopping.

Today is COLD! It*s awesome, i love it. I woke up early this morning to get some projects underway & do some Christmas shopping. Justin & I went to bed early at 1am this morning. I woke up at 9am & did some things on the website i wanted to do & went to get Justin & I Breakfast. I woke him up at 11:30am. I also did some shopping. Since this malls are crowed i decided to do so online. So, i bought my mom a new purse with the accessories. I also got my brother a watch since he loves his watches. I found one at Fossil.com that is PERFEKT for him. I also got Justin a watch too dad got one as well. I don't really know what to get family because they haven't really asked for anything so i go upon what they like.

I casted a new resin piece, i used different elements to see how well things would go. If all goes well you guys will be seeing it tomorrow up for grabs. I was wondering, what kind of incentives are you guys holding for the preparing of Christmas sales. Is there any other forums you guys use to get out there? Maybe i should try some of these things. I*ve yet to advertise offline too. I*ve been to busy these last few weeks to concentrate on making fliers & different things like that. I*m trying to get ready for the box sampler & other promo swaps. If you guys could leave comments it would be helpful. :P Oh...& i have an idea, so please help me & take the poll?

Feeling A Little Better..

I havent been feeling good the past 2 days, but i did do my entrecard drops & my link referral stuff to keep myself visible. I was in the forums for a few minutes last night & i noticed, whenever people see something that is new they sort of try to bash it to see if anyone else jumps on board. Everyone has their own opinion we know that. I thought getting your name out there was a good thing? Oh well..

I*m coming up with new ring idea's so you*ll be see's those pretty soon. I*m waiting on my sterling silver wire to arrive. I order's a ton of wrongs beads (i blame the coffee to hyper to focus) so I*ve got to come up with a new design. I*ve been really busy lately but i do plan on adding more items soon. I know i need to stock up on rings, bracelet's, & earrings. I took a moment off to explore other options. It was fun & I*ll keep doing it but i started off with charms and jewelry & i need to stick with that.

I did do some custom order hair clips. They were for my little cousin's dance rehearsal. She was so graceful, unlike myself. It was also the time to test the durability of the clips. The twirled, spun, & jumped and the clips didn*t move at all. :P That's what i like to see. Here are her little clips.

I made a new ring, but I made 2 of the same one. They are super cute! They are not up on etsy or .net yet because the pictures are not up to par. I was so excited i didn*t want to wait! I*ll be re-taking pictures tomorrow & then I*ll add them. But You can Get a sneak peek now!

Casey*s Back....In Pink.

I haven*t had time to add anything new recently so i took it upon myself to make a new clutch. I LOVE it! It*s a Casey again, but this time she is tamed in "Wild Raspberry". This design is a slight bit different from Casey on the shirt, because like i said I want the designs to be unique & all be the same design but not look the same in every detail. Owl's are popular & Casey i think will be a big hit too. Although she is making her debut tonight she will not be added to etsy or UC.net until tomorrow afternoon. Two Days At The Zoo

We left on Friday to be with my family for my uncle. They are having a few issues of how they*d like to proceed. They are going to wait until Monday to sort it all out. :[ I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who sent me e-mails & left me messages. It really helped out a lot & means a lot!

Justin & I went to the Zoo, we stayed for 2 days, why you ask? Well because i am directionally challenged! I turned an hour 1/2 trip into 4 hours! lol oh yeah.. We got the Zoo Saturday just in time to grab something to eat & leave lol so sad! We came home & woke up this morning at 8am to get there 10:30am. There wasn*t nearly as many people there today as yesterday. We got some really great pictures & had an awesome time. We needed the time together. It was fun doing something cool, we goofed around & just hung out like we use to. It was great. We noticed a lot of different animals & people for that matter. I*m so glad i have established my personality & i*m my own. We had people that we*d walk through a few exhibits with & you could tell that they weren*t comfortable in their own skin. For those of you who are scared of being who you were meant to be, why? You should let it shine! Every person is beautiful so why not let it all out? I opted for water instead of soft drinks & i felt excellent. I*m excited about this new healthy kick I*m on. I*m 5'4 & weigh 109lbs but I*m trying to stay in shape. A few months ago when my car was wrecked i had nothing to do but sit around & watch tv. I felt like crap all the time until recently. I*m not on a diet, don*t get me wrong! My family is all upset because "Leslie is on a diet, she's trying to loose weight. She needs to snap out of it" Since I*m almost 24 & i*m looking further into my life I*m seeing that the more i progress it*s going to be harder for me to stay in shape. That's all. So family members who are reading you can stop freaking out & find something else to have a cow about. Thanks! :P

A Little In Between

Today so far hasn*t been so hot. Mom called me last night & said i*d have the day off today because she was going to handle everything. I woke up to my phone's message tone & it was my mom. I guess she doesn*t need me tomorrow either. I got all upset because we are depending on money i bring home. Me missing 2 days thats a little over $100 Justin & I aren*t getting. We have a massive amount of bills to pay since he got his car back & yada yada. So i*m just stressed out. Justin*s telling me i have to leave my mom & get another job daadaadaa daadaadaa. We*ve already talked about this & I*m sick of hearing about it. Ya know how that is? lol if your going to be moody & unpleasant cant ya at least bring up something new? :(

On a happier note i got more packages yesterday! hehe Just so we are clear i spend the money i have in paypal for my little goodies. :P I received my polka dot cupcake dress for the Blythe doll that i dont have yet. You know how it is you have to start getting stuff before you get one. She can*t be nakie. I got the cute little thread from Jenny. You should check her out she has a lot of great stuff! She has the cutest Blythe dresses! You also see a tin of lip balm in the mix. I purchased that from Shannon's Irish Bliss. It smells excellent & i love the way it makes my lips feel. Plus the tin closes & locks tightly so the lid doesn't slide off into my purse & everything around it fall victim to a good slather. Shannon is extremely nice as well. I got the wine cork key chain from Nikki.She is super sweet too & she lives in NC as well so it got here in like a day which was awesome. I purchased it for Justin*s mom who loves her wine so i thought it would be a cute Christmas gift. $2 Ad's for an entire month!

Three New Items

I added some new items, well a set really. I think they*re cute! I made my little cousin a pair. They're so girly. You can wear them with an outfit out everyday, they*re just cute! These are the other two items i added.

I slept my butt off Thursday night, i didnt hear Justin until he slammed the bathroom door & turned on all the lights in the apartment at 5:30am this morning. Sometime this weekend i need to sit down & think up some goals for UniqueCharm. Some day's i just dont have time though, there isnt enough hours in the day & the time i do have I*m usually promoting. For those of you who have a website what else do you do? Where do you advertise? I*ve been thinking of getting the laser window decals so i can make a promo sticker for my car. Has anyone done this is it effective? I got really cute stickers from CeeJay! I bought 2 Hibiscus Flower Decal for my side view mirrors. I*ve had so many compliments on them, she also sent the bird decal for free so she is on my rear view.

Everyone's Favorite Saying Hello!

I ate dinner at my moms house since Justin doesnt get off work until 10pm tonight. I opted to hang out there to watch some TV with Punkin. I also ran him around in their back yard & washed my car, inside & out. I*m offly proud of myself for today's work. For the last 2 days I*ve been on a cleaning benge. I don*t know what my deal is! I woke up at 9am this morning ( went to bed at 4am ) & cleaned up the kitchen, living room, & the dining room.

I*m super excited Justin got me extra stuff for my screen printing. I hadn*t really gotten a chance to get into it yet. I*m still researching & creating. I*m excited though! He got me a new screen & new colors! woohoo! You know what that means! New stuff in a few days.

Some of you have been asking about Roo ( the adorable fuzzy chinchilla ). I was playing with him last night. We were switching back & forth between the food network & the cartoon network (he loves his cartoon's too - he watched them while we sleep & he barks when the tv is off & he wants it on or vise versa). I took a few new photo's with my camera. He loves to try to chew on the digital camera ( & everything else for that matter! ) so i cant have that around him anymore. He*s my buddy, i find myself talking to him & sometimes he wont be paying any attention to me but sometimes it*s like he is sitting there very patiently waiting for me to stop talking so he can get into something else. He*s my buddy! He is A LOT of work, but if you have a chance to get one i would suggest them! They take a little while ( a month for Roo ) to bond with you before they*re comfortable around you. When they do get comfortable they*ll be all over you, digging in your hair sitting on your shoulder watching tv, violating your stuffed animal. Needless to say he has a stuffed animal now ;P

New Screen Print!

It has been raining all day so i had to do something to keep away the gloom. I made a new screen print. I dont know why i call them screen prints, there are no screens just me hand painting them all. To keep interest i guess? :P It was really fun to make & i just sort of did it without thinking about it. I wanted to use flowers but didn*t want to do the normal flower, so i did a vine flower. It is a large & it also has FREE shipping as does all the screen prints in my shop, you should swing by & get yourself one.

I thought i was going to have a relaxing weekend, then i remembered all the things we had going on this weekend. Saturday was awesome! I went to Jennifer's house to hang out with her & my god daughter & tina. When i got home Justin and i got ready to go see my brother's band play. Jennifer & her boyfriend got here & we were there by 9. We had a few drinks sat around and BSed waiting for the cover band to finish up. My dad was there to support the local music & his son. :P So i let him buy his daughter & her friends a few shots & drinks. He was drinking himself & was sort of waisted...I made sure our friend Hunter had his keys & hunter to me know pops was going to stay with him so he wouldnt drive & he would have somewhere soft to sleep.

I made my first screen print shirt to sale. It*s so cute, i love it. I designed it after the one i made myself but i only added one owl. I think I*m pricing them pretty well considering im hand drawing everything & hand painting everything. I*m using only 100% cotton shirts as well. Although it maybe the same design since I*m re drawing the screens after every shirt made the shirt with the same design will slightly differ from the previous one, not drastically but slightly. The Great Escape

I*m stuffed! I just want to go to sleep. Today was Justin*s dad*s birthday! yay!!! We all went to the Ale House and ate then went to his parents house for cake. His brother had to get redy to go to bed because he has school tomrrow. We told him if he*s good at school Friday he can stay with us Friday night. He hasn*t stayed in awhile. We boosted our internet speed & got a new router. He will bring his 360* & Justin has his- so they*ll have a Call Of Duty war tomrrow night. Justin sets him up on the couch in the office so he can play & they wont crowd each others space.
