Another Weekend Over..

I can't put down the ipod! Blair put the new Stone Sour cd on it last night & its awesome! I'd say it might be better than their first cd. That's just my opinion..My favorite song by far is "Say You'll Haunt Me". Check out the song & the video? 

 

 I did add 2 tanks, i had added them to uniquecharm.net & sold a few but forgot to list them on etsy (i know right, duhh) This weekend has been so busy, when i think i'll have a few minutes to myself my phone rings.Friday night Jenny & I had a girls night in but her boyfriend Wes was there so we let him partake in the festivities.She cooked & i brought a movie. It was "The Backup Plan". Last night Blair had a UFC party, Jenny & I got there early to cook while Wes & Blair played video games. We all had fun, the fight was over really late & everyone was tired & sort of buzzed. I met Jenny at Shelly Lake for a nice stroll around the lake because it was 75* instead of the usually 98*! Our high for next week is 81*, I'm so excited, i'm ready for fall!

What to do with Wednesday

I've got to step out & pick up some anti-virus for my laptop. I don't think it's a good idea to be cruising around the internet without it these days. Although i did run out like 2 months ago, i decided not to push it. I bought some fabric yesterday & i'm a little confused as to what i'm going to use it for. I thought about making makeup bags, & some more zipper pouches. Please be honest. Now that school started is there any need for zipper pouches? I love the diversity of them though, you can use them for pretty much anything..

Friday can't come fast enough!

Hello you guys! I'm so glad it's almost Friday!!!! I need a break from work! A person can only take so much. I dream about power point presentations, book bindings, & Photoshop & Jasc design software! This week has flown by though. Without Ali ( Miss you!) at work it sucks because i'm fairly new & have no idea what the protocol on some of the rules are. Since we're located in Wakefield everyone seems to think they have an advantage because they're business people & sophiciated therefore they have to be right & everything has to be done right then! I think they all think im a magician, that i can magically snap my finger's & their designs will be done. I leave my wond at home when i'm at work. ( sorry! ) *happy dance* it'ss almost friday!

Pillow pals, Cupcakes & Ipods!

I want a pillow pet!! I know you've seen these cute & fluffy little creations. I want the penguin, He's adorable! I've been so busy the past few weeks, by the time i get home i cant wait to go to bed. Ali ( our lead ) had a cortisone shot today because she has a herniated disc in her back. ( Get better soon Ali! ) I wanted to get in on the cupcake challenge ( hosted by Hoosier Homemade ) next tuesday ( who doesn't love cupcakes?! ) but i think i'll have to work 8-4 so by the time i get home it'll be 7pm before my cupcakes are done. :o( I might make them on Monday night & do the post Tuesday afternoon. Anyone else watch the cupcake wars? It comes on the food network every Tuesday night. You should get into it, if ya like cakes & challenges. They have all kinds of weird ( but delicious )ingredients on the fly. These people do have talent.

Im a little upset, I've had my ipod touch for about 6 months & the past few days ive taken it off the charger into my purse & to work. ( no good readio on in the morning & i hate commericals ) By the time i get off work & im ready to jam out...it's dead! Has anyone else had this problem? Could it be because we have wifi at work & it's trying to connect all day or is there something bigger?

The Little Black box

Today is going to be super hot & it*s already pretty steamy out. I*m doing a little research on how to get noticed. I*m thinking the best way to do this is to advertise & put in my 2 cents where I can. I did “The Little Black Box” a few years ago when I was doing my hobbies full time. It was a great idea because I hit a peek. So I*ve decided to add 50 samples to the September box. This should give me enough time to make all my goodies & have some in my shop as well. I*m thinking about making another webpage for those who don’t have an Etsy account. I canceled UniqueCharm.net because I didn’t have a chance to do anything with it. I realized how much I missed doing this so I*ll be going at it until I can’t anymore. Unlike before I think i*ll focus on fun & elegant pieces instead of just the fun. It*s always fun to mix it up a little. I hope everyone is having a great Thursday! It*s time to go off to work.

I need sleep

I*m so tired, i didnt really sleep good last night, I*m still getting use to working a "real" job. I didn*t work at Staples today but i did moms errands this morning. She didn*t call me until 12:30! I was relaxing plotting out my day then she called, shes paying me too so i didnt say no. We had our EMS auxiliary meeting again tonight, it went well. Although we dont have a lot of people to cover the Lake Donna even for Saturday {I*m working at staples until 8 because of inventory} so we are still trying to get all that taken care of.

Free time is exhausting

I have a ton of free time now that i have no extra money to spend on my crafty little hobby. I*ll be adding a bunch of new things after New Years though. I have to be restricted for the month because of the ticket i still have to pay. I*m the one who pays rent & Justin pays everything else, i have a slightly bigger half than he does though. I actually made dinner tonight! I*m embarrassed to say..tonight was the first night ive ever made chicken! I baked it, i*m finding since I*m not working as much and eating all the junk food i*m eating - it may start catching up soon.
Mom got me a MAC makeup kit forever ago & i have yet to break into it. I*m not really much for a lot of make up, i only wear mascara & eye liner. I was last night so i decided to visit youtube for a eye make up tut {sad - i know} & found a cool one. It*s the one for "smokey" eyes. I thought it looked good considering i had no make up brushes to use { i used them as paint brushes} I took a photo but it only shows it a little. As everyone can tell by now, I*m not the best photo takerer.

I was thinking about it today & i want to go to the gym. We have one in our apartment complex that is HUGE but my mom or Justin doesn't want me going by myself. {if anyone got me, they wouldn't keep me long, my brother says im aggravating. PFF!} There's a sub division in Wakefield that Justin & I lived in when we first moved in with each other that I*m thinking of treking. We know a lot of people from there & there are a lot of cars always crusing through, plus I*ll have my big stick. :O)

Perfect day for Christmas Shopping.

Today is COLD! It*s awesome, i love it. I woke up early this morning to get some projects underway & do some Christmas shopping. Justin & I went to bed early at 1am this morning. I woke up at 9am & did some things on the website i wanted to do & went to get Justin & I Breakfast. I woke him up at 11:30am. I also did some shopping. Since this malls are crowed i decided to do so online. So, i bought my mom a new purse with the accessories. I also got my brother a watch since he loves his watches. I found one at Fossil.com that is PERFEKT for him. I also got Justin a watch too dad got one as well. I don't really know what to get family because they haven't really asked for anything so i go upon what they like.

I casted a new resin piece, i used different elements to see how well things would go. If all goes well you guys will be seeing it tomorrow up for grabs. I was wondering, what kind of incentives are you guys holding for the preparing of Christmas sales. Is there any other forums you guys use to get out there? Maybe i should try some of these things. I*ve yet to advertise offline too. I*ve been to busy these last few weeks to concentrate on making fliers & different things like that. I*m trying to get ready for the box sampler & other promo swaps. If you guys could leave comments it would be helpful. :P Oh...& i have an idea, so please help me & take the poll?

Two Days At The Zoo

We left on Friday to be with my family for my uncle. They are having a few issues of how they*d like to proceed. They are going to wait until Monday to sort it all out. :[ I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who sent me e-mails & left me messages. It really helped out a lot & means a lot!

Justin & I went to the Zoo, we stayed for 2 days, why you ask? Well because i am directionally challenged! I turned an hour 1/2 trip into 4 hours! lol oh yeah.. We got the Zoo Saturday just in time to grab something to eat & leave lol so sad! We came home & woke up this morning at 8am to get there 10:30am. There wasn*t nearly as many people there today as yesterday. We got some really great pictures & had an awesome time. We needed the time together. It was fun doing something cool, we goofed around & just hung out like we use to. It was great. We noticed a lot of different animals & people for that matter. I*m so glad i have established my personality & i*m my own. We had people that we*d walk through a few exhibits with & you could tell that they weren*t comfortable in their own skin. For those of you who are scared of being who you were meant to be, why? You should let it shine! Every person is beautiful so why not let it all out? I opted for water instead of soft drinks & i felt excellent. I*m excited about this new healthy kick I*m on. I*m 5'4 & weigh 109lbs but I*m trying to stay in shape. A few months ago when my car was wrecked i had nothing to do but sit around & watch tv. I felt like crap all the time until recently. I*m not on a diet, don*t get me wrong! My family is all upset because "Leslie is on a diet, she's trying to loose weight. She needs to snap out of it" Since I*m almost 24 & i*m looking further into my life I*m seeing that the more i progress it*s going to be harder for me to stay in shape. That's all. So family members who are reading you can stop freaking out & find something else to have a cow about. Thanks! :P

Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood

The last few days have been so busy there is barely enough time in the day to get things done. I got up this morning feeling so good & so refreshed, however i didnt want to go to work. :) (tough) I got to work around 9am, got home at like 4pm, not bad. I must say i love my car! It*s so small & cute i just love it. I took more pictures while i was waiting for my mom to get her crap together this morning. ( i altered the last photo a little :] )After i got off work Justin & i went with his parents to the lake, the sun wasnt bad i can feel i got a little on my shoulders & face but nothing to bad to where it hurts to move. Justin & his brother were wake boarding, his brother hasnt got the hang of it yet but Justin makes it look effortless. While his brother was trying on his go's Justin asked if i wanted to try ski'ing. I told him i wanted to try my hand at the wakeboard & he said he thought I*d be better off with the ski's & not worry about the board. lol thats what motivates me the most is someone telling me what i can*t do...so yeah...my first try i got up, stayed up & crused around. :P They were so proud. We had a lot of fun.
I bought the coolest tags from scraptasticsupplies a few days ago. I was sent WAY more than i paid for! They*re so awesome though, I*m using them as promo tools. I also added their shop name on the front of the tags letting the person know who made them. As for me I*ll be adding new items starting the middle to end of next week. I*m paying mom back this week for everything she helped me with. We*ve got some bills due next week but I*ll see what i can do. I miss all my items! I went from almost 50 to low twenties.I*m tired so I*m going to hang out with the chinchilla but hey dont forget the offers i have going on!
