What to do with Wednesday

I've got to step out & pick up some anti-virus for my laptop. I don't think it's a good idea to be cruising around the internet without it these days. Although i did run out like 2 months ago, i decided not to push it. I bought some fabric yesterday & i'm a little confused as to what i'm going to use it for. I thought about making makeup bags, & some more zipper pouches. Please be honest. Now that school started is there any need for zipper pouches? I love the diversity of them though, you can use them for pretty much anything..

A Day of Latte's

Today is going to be another long day & again, I*m not sleepy at all. I*m really excited more than anything. I*ve been sitting around thinking about different components & since I*ve got a job now i can get more stuff. MUAHAHA!! :D I find myself pondering in things that would usually scare me away. I*m ready for a change though. I*ve been on the zipper pouch kick because they come in handy, I*ve made myself & friends a bunch, so many that i had to oil my sewing machine. Speaking of zipper pouches, i got around to making one today. I*ll post it later this afternoon when i get home & take photo's. I*m running moms errands again in the morning at 8am while she works, then i have to be at Staples at 10:45am to fill out my paperwork & maybe do a little training. Ryan*s also going to give me my hours for next week, i think i have like 4 days? We went over it a little today when i went in to buy a bubble envelope & to give him the days i needed off :P He said "your not even on payroll until Friday & you come to me wanting 5 days off already?" I just smiled & he shook his head, he knows how i operate. I have the bands coming to Lake Donna on the 16th with the EMS Auxiliary team. Ryan said if he puts me in the copy center it will keep me occupied & since i talk to everyone i can talk them into stuff they dont need {he only half hearted meant that} to improve our monthly quota. Needless to say I*m going to need a venti white chocolate mocha from Starbucks to accomplish all that needs to be done today. Wish me luck!

On a personal note: IM NO LONGER UNEMPLOYEED! Yup, my old boss called me today asking if i wanted my job back. He said he had a spot open for cashier or the copy center { It*s Staples}. He told me he*d hold off on hiring anyone for the cashier position since i wanted to the Copy Center position & while i was training for the copy center he would give me a few cashier shifts to make some money. :D We went to my cousins house last night & watched "Bride Wars". It was so cute, if you have a chance you should see it.

How has your day been thus far?

Yay for fabric!

I*ve been sitting around the house all day, i need to get all my stuff off my floor & hang my clothes up & get them in my closet. It*s beautiful outside & I*ve had the window open all day, it*s getting hotter though. I*ve been in a fairly creative mood today. I made my first key chain. It*s a snarky smiley face. :P I had to sacrifice a throw pillow to stuff it though. I*ll post the picture when i add his ring.

I pulled out some fabric ive been holding out on forever & I*m going to attempt a new way to make zipper pouches. Mom bought me an awesome sewing machine for Christmas & I*ve been scared to play with it. I did do the few pouches i have listed but it was nerve racking because if i cut my felt it wouldn't fit into the pouch. Today im being adventurous, whats the worst that can happen? I*ll just have to cut a few stitches out. Hopefully these little cuties will make it into the etsy shop & UC.net. I*ll only have 1 kitty pouch though, i made my little cousin a pencil pouch when i got the fabric.

What's What

Here lately i have noticed i need a break. I know my job isn't stressful or anything of that nature. But i got mad at my sewing machine because the thread kept falling out of the needle while i was trying to sew a pouch together. I think i covered every cuss word in the book { & some ive made up along the way because they add the fine touch to the situation} & the chinchilla was looking at me with an attitude too - so i let him have it as well. I said i was sorry then picked him up and squeezed him. He let me only because i think he was fearing for his life. I just want to be able to go to the beach & hang out for a weekend or a week. Mom & dad's beach house are empty for the next month, maybe i could set up shop there? I*ve also thought about going to the mountains to do some cave searches. A few of my friends went and they said it was awesome. There are people there that hang around and wont let you get lost. I know there is no need to ask Justin because he doesn't have any time off for work & he wouldn't like it. They said it's totally dark & ya have to wear hard hats & head lamps. How cool would that be? AWESOME! There is this 1 cave that has a 70 foot drop. Needless to say you have to ascend down & back up. When Heath went they said they stayed in for 10 hours and the guys that work there came to get them out. Apparently you can only stay in 10 hours then they make you come up for air. All i know is im feeling a little restless. I*m tired of hearing video games & doing the same thing over & over again. I feel myself falling apart & i don't know how to stop it. Do you ever feel that way? What do you do? I made a new zipper pouch last night but i was gone all day so i couldn't get any good photo's. It will make it's debut tomorrow.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope it*s a good one! Santa came early to mom's {maybe this is why i don't have any patience?} I got my sewing machine!!! {YAY!} She showed me how to thread it & do the bobbin. I played around with it before i left last night to bring it home & hehe i must say it is frustrating when you have no idea whats going on. I tried a pouch last night but since it was the first time ever touching a machine i had no idea what i was doing. BUT I did manage to make a CUTE zipper pouch this morning. I*m not going to sell it since the top stitch is a little off {cant tell its hiding in the bend}. I will be making more as soon as i figure out how to do the zippers. See it!

I woke up at 9am this morning against my will. Justin's alarm clock went off and i couldn't go back to sleep. I had to go to the grocery store for a few things, everyone knew what was going on. I*m thinking of getting another job. We have lost 2 people this month & i want to know i have something to fall onto a few days a week. Justin is a manager for Staples {thats how we met} & since I*ve wasted a few years of my life at Staples i thought about going back 2 days a week. I worked at the Staples in Wakefield, i loved everyone i worked with they were so funny & my mangers knew when i was having a bad day & they*d find me a replacement & i*d go home to cry it out. :) I miss you guys Ryan! I*d walk around with my shoes off lay around in the mangers office & complain about the choice of the day, etc. I even cussed out another employee once & they fired the other employee. I started at $7 & when i left i was making $9.50. I thought it was pretty good being a cashier {who didnt really do anything, not even what she was told}. There were regular people who come in to buy their office stuff & some just dropped in to chat. When i see those people around they tell me how much they miss me & how big of ass' the people who are there now are. The Staples Justin works at is in Chapel Hill {an hour from here} & they arnt nice at all {I*ve met them}. I dont think my bubbly tude would be welcome. I don*t have the brain mouth filter & i talk a lot {you cant tell though right hehe} :)

Another sneak peek!

Justin is closing tonight so he wont be home until 11pm so I*ve got loads of time to kill. I have made 3 new zipper pouches. I don*t have anymore zippers so i have to grab those before i head to the bank tomorrow morning. I*m happy the way the Care Bear zipper turned out. It was my first try, i didnt even have to cut any threads. I got my hot chocolate & was trying to find something to do. I saw my bag of fabrics & felt so i starting digging & i found some useful pieces.Here is a sneak peek of what i made with them! They will be in the shop & on the site either tomorrow or by the end of the week. These photo's are not the best by far because its dark outside. So i will be retaking the photo's before i list these beauties.




I*m trying to figure out how to promote my website. I have an etsy site but the people of etsy keep that seen, so i just want to get my website out there for everyone to see. Does anyone have any thoughts on what i can do? It would be cheaper for me to keep it than to pay etsy fee's.

New Zipper Pouch!

This week just wont slow down. Yesterday was Justin's 24th birthday so we ate dinner at his parents, did the gift thing, then went to a movie that was followed by cake & ice cream. I was a little tired so i didnt notice i shoved a forkful of coconut into my mouth. I was talking so i wasnt paying attention to what i was eatting. I*m allergic to coconut & i started feeling it on the way home. I*m glad we left when we did. It made me sick so it all came up but i felt worse after that. I layed down & forgot to put Roo up so when Justin came to bed at 3am this morning Rupert was asleep laying beside my head on my pillow. He is so sweet at times, I love his fuzzy butt. I had a little time last night so i made a new zipper pouch! My first time ever using zippers, i think i did good? I love Care Bears so the fabric was a must. What do ya think?
