I was doing some blog hopping before bedtime last night & came across mommies2cents, she had a post about something called "Project Night Night". The name intrigued me so i started reading & I've decided to send some newly purchased items to help! Here is the run down of "Project Night Night" (for more info go HERE).

Donate Stuffed Animals, Baby Blankets, and Children's Books
Project Night Night donates over 25,000 Night Night Packages each year, free of charge, to
homeless children who need our childhood essentials to feel secure, cozy, ready to learn, and
significant. Each Night Night Package contains a new security blanket, an age-appropriate
children's book, and a stuffed animal -- all nestled inside of a new canvas tote bag. By providing
objects of reliable comfort, Project Night Night reduces trauma and advances the emotional and
cognitive well-being of the children we serve.

Every child who receives one of our Night Night Packages leaves the shelter owning a book which
encourages reading and family bonding, a security blanket which can be cuddled, and a stuffed
animal which can become a cherished friend. We have one objective – to deliver our Night Night
Packages to every homeless child in the country who needs one.

Hello there! It has been awhile huh? I just wanted to let everyone know I'll be adding some new items by the middle of next week. I'm gathering everything together to get up next week. I will be adding a few screen print designs. I'm playing around with screen printing & I love it. As always the items I put up are limited editions, some of the items will be back but some may not. I got rid of UniqueCharm.net. I'm open for advice on new promo's for the shop & help to get back in the swing of things, I'd love any input anyone would like to spare.

I*m coming back

I*m sitting here watching the new Dane Cook: isolated incident on comedy centeral & I*m so tired. I was doing a little surfing and i found some awesome new supplies! So there will be new jewelry coming very soon. Jay asked me to make him a necklace so I*ll be doing that on thursday. I dont really make guy jewelry but i do a little for my brother so i thought I*d make Jay one on Thursday. I*m going to be doing a little more elegant jewelry. I*m coming out of my comfort zone & diving in, it doesnt help to be scared all the time right? Please stay tued for updates next week. I*m trying to get everything together to promote & make new things. I*m going to hold off on the zipper pouches for a few weeks. I was looking at new beads & what not & i figured out how much i missed my jewelry making!

I haven't decided if we are going to the beach or not. Everyone still wants to but its supposed to rain & i dont want to camp in the rain ya know. I haven't updated in a few days because i have been spending a lot of time at Jay*s. His little nieces are so precious! I didnt feel good Sunday so Skyler & Jay layed on the couch with me & watched "meet the Robinsons", well Skyler did, jay fell asleep. I woke up beside him this morning & he was so sweet, it was a beautiful morning. :)

A Day of Latte's

Today is going to be another long day & again, I*m not sleepy at all. I*m really excited more than anything. I*ve been sitting around thinking about different components & since I*ve got a job now i can get more stuff. MUAHAHA!! :D I find myself pondering in things that would usually scare me away. I*m ready for a change though. I*ve been on the zipper pouch kick because they come in handy, I*ve made myself & friends a bunch, so many that i had to oil my sewing machine. Speaking of zipper pouches, i got around to making one today. I*ll post it later this afternoon when i get home & take photo's. I*m running moms errands again in the morning at 8am while she works, then i have to be at Staples at 10:45am to fill out my paperwork & maybe do a little training. Ryan*s also going to give me my hours for next week, i think i have like 4 days? We went over it a little today when i went in to buy a bubble envelope & to give him the days i needed off :P He said "your not even on payroll until Friday & you come to me wanting 5 days off already?" I just smiled & he shook his head, he knows how i operate. I have the bands coming to Lake Donna on the 16th with the EMS Auxiliary team. Ryan said if he puts me in the copy center it will keep me occupied & since i talk to everyone i can talk them into stuff they dont need {he only half hearted meant that} to improve our monthly quota. Needless to say I*m going to need a venti white chocolate mocha from Starbucks to accomplish all that needs to be done today. Wish me luck!

I*m going to try to get some things done tomorrow. I*ve been up since 6:30am {couldnt sleep anymore} & i met Candace at 8:30am to be at the Relay for Life at 9 to help paint faces. We had a good time, it was such a pretty day all day. There where a few clouds but nothing to spoil anything & it didnt rain. We also had a birthday party for my naana, whos real birthday isnt until tomorrow. Candace made butterfly cupcakes for the event {Steven helped although he dont wanna admit it}. For those of you who dont know we have 5 sets of twins in our family { the first set starting with my brother & I}. I took a picture of Sarah & Caitlyn doing what they do, do you know who is who? To everyone else it*s so hard for them but if you know them on a personal level they are 2 TOTALLY different people. Candace is 10 years older than them & I am 9 years older so since the day they were born we picked one to help take care of {like Julie & Joanna did with me & Kevin}. She picked Sarah & I picked Caitlyn. Sarah is so much like Candace & Caitlyn is so much like me. Caitlyn is funny, spontaneous, creative, truthful & loud {just like me} Sarah is the medium opposite but she is really funny too. Some things they say & their mom will look at one of us like "i knew you had something to do with that". Caitlyn has no problem speaking her mind but Sarah gives a lot of thought into what she says.
I will do features next week but i just wanted to take a day to recognize my family, they read my blog & they*ve never said anything about it. Things change from day to day & ya never know if that day is going to be your last. I*ve lost 2 best friends, a close friend & an uncle recently. Just make sure your family & friends know how much they mean to you & thank them for what they do for ya.

Yay for fabric!

I*ve been sitting around the house all day, i need to get all my stuff off my floor & hang my clothes up & get them in my closet. It*s beautiful outside & I*ve had the window open all day, it*s getting hotter though. I*ve been in a fairly creative mood today. I made my first key chain. It*s a snarky smiley face. :P I had to sacrifice a throw pillow to stuff it though. I*ll post the picture when i add his ring.

I pulled out some fabric ive been holding out on forever & I*m going to attempt a new way to make zipper pouches. Mom bought me an awesome sewing machine for Christmas & I*ve been scared to play with it. I did do the few pouches i have listed but it was nerve racking because if i cut my felt it wouldn't fit into the pouch. Today im being adventurous, whats the worst that can happen? I*ll just have to cut a few stitches out. Hopefully these little cuties will make it into the etsy shop & UC.net. I*ll only have 1 kitty pouch though, i made my little cousin a pencil pouch when i got the fabric.

A day of procrastination

I re listed a few things this morning. I*m going to try to get some sewing done this evening so hopefully I can add those in a day or so. It sucks through because i have to use my cell phone camera, i may have to wait until tomorrow morning to take the photo's. I have been going none stop since i moved & it feels so good to sit down & take a minute to relax. I downloaded a few songs I*ve been wanting & I*m thinking of re doing the playlists on the ipod. I*ve got 500 some odd songs & my ipod only plays the ones it likes. I found this one song by "FM Static" called "Tonight" & i LOVE it! I*m always asking around but if anyone has a song i should take a listen to please feel free to leave it in my comments & I*ll give it a try.

Good Morning World!

I*ve been MIA for awhile & I*ve had time to recharge my batteries. I*m just now getting everything back together because i moved to Wakefield again. Justin & I havent been together since January & I*ve had a lot of time to myself. I*ve learned who i am & I*m so happy now. Justin & I have a mutual agreement that we are better as friends. I*m going to get my blog & everything up & running again. I*ll be doing some features next week too, I*ll also be making some new creations to post next week. I*ve gotta figure out what to do about my camera situation though. I need a new camera card i think, it maybe my laptop that cant find the cards. My laptop wont find my card or Justins card. I could use my cellphone but thats going to be terribile. If anyone knows some way i can tweak it please leave me a comment, it would be so helpful!

My cousin & her boyfriend went to the "Knights of Lights" in Rockingham this week & i told them I*d babysit Daisy & Nine {their doggies} Nine doesnt like anyone but she has warmed up to me the last few weeks, it was cool i let them out this morning & let Daisy in & Nine out for about an hour then went back at 8pm to let them out & feed them & the fish.

I*m back!

It has been so long! Now I*m back in full swing! I took a break for a little while but now I*m back. I*ve cleared out all the old baggage & have found myself again. I*ll be adding a few new items in a week or so, still trying to get moved into the new house. Check out the website & for the etsy fans check me out here too.

Some Me Time. For A Day.

I got my business cards today from Vistaprint.com. They;re so cute! I have a few people i need to mail them to. I*m doing the www.outoftheboxsampler.com in November so i have to send some things i make. I think I*ll make some charms & other little things. It's pretty cool if you haven't seen it you should check it out. It seems like a great way to get out there & be seen. I didn't work today because mom gave me another day off to get stuff together. I*ve gotta wake up super early tomorrow. Justin has been getting home at 10:30pm every night because he has to close since another manager is on vaca. It sucks but what can you do.

September*s Game Plan..

I*m a little behind today, i cant get it in gear. Justin & I had so much fun last night. He got off work we had some friends over & I made us "sweet tarts". So we had some drinks & played guitar hero. Now i see why everyone says its better to play a little toasty. lol we had an excellent time. However today.....I*m behind on what i wanted to get done. :oP

I dont know why i didnt think of this before but tonight I*m going to make some hot tea & come up with all my sales & promotions for the month of September. I*m going to make a cute little flier & stick them in with all my packages. This way i can keep track myself & everyone will know what I*m doing in case they want to save some green at Unique Charm. Most of the sales & promotions will be available to UniqueCharm.net & UniqueCharm.etsy. Although one or 2 maybe targeted to etsy. I*m going to have to come up with a system. I use paypal so i dont know how to put in a code word(s) & make the percentage come off. I anyone knows could you please leave me a comment to let me know how? That would be greatly appreciated. Right now I*m just doing revised invoices. So..this is the game plan for tonight...wish me luck! :oP

The Weather*s Been Better..

Justin is at work until 10pm so he wont be home until 11pm. I*m taking today to redo some stuff & advertise different places. I*m trying to figure out how to use them with maximum exposure. Hopefully by this time next week I*ll be taking it off line. I have yet to take my advertising off line. For the past few months i havent had a car & was to scared to do so when i first started. I think now that I*ve got my foot in the door I*ll be ok, hopefully. I*m still trying to figure out how to get UniqueCharm.net out there. I*m trying to do a simple layout lol but i cant not do it! I guess it shows my personality. I want something simple & work really hard for it but it just comes out colorful & flashy. See!! Any thoughts? I*m oober excited to be screen printing! Although it takes awhile i*m having fun with it.I*m concocting a plan! I know theres not a lot of items in my shop & i cant help that as of right now. I*m hoping next week I*ll be able to add a few more items. With me not working & Justin having to pay for EVERYTHING it*s really wearing us thin money wise. I*ll be adding PIF*s & what not soon. Please help keep me motivated?

World, Please Stop Getting Hotter!

It*s been so hot here lately its ridiculous! Jennifer & Josh just left. We went to the pool for a little while, didnt really get any sun though. We hung out & chatted awhile though. They left around 7:45pm, so I*m making myself a snack & waiting the rest of the lake house Justin & I started watching last night. He has off tomorrow so we are going to hang out by the pool for a few. I*m supposed to get my car looked at tomorrow as well, the transmission is acting realy odd. Justin said it sounds bad but lol he says that about anything i drive. ( I*ve only had it like a week how bad could i have messed it up huh?) I talked to the dealer & he swears he didnt sell me anything faulty, but if he did it*s going back! I*ll have the diagnosis on that tomorrow afternoon.

Since I*ve been at home all day I made a cellphone charm! I love cupcakes & have a thing about them, i just think they*re so cute! I think everyone should own a cupcake. Not only are they yummy but some (the non edible goodies) are so pretty! So here it is :) I*m also giving free stickers until i reach my 100th sale on etsy!

I*ve been watching Jon & Kate + 8 since i woke up this morning. I love that show, those little kids are adorable! TLC had a marathon & I watched a lot & dvr'd ones i havent seen. Justin & i watched a few while sitting around. He watched Fantastic 4 while i promoted a little. He's so patient about that, he knows i love it. Since today was Memorial Day everything closed at the 6pm. I'd been begging him to take me to Michaels for days now (i cant drive his car it's a stick) so we leave at 5:30pm to get to Michael's, Staples, & the grocery store to get everything we needed. It sucked because i didn't have time to get everything at Michaels & i forgot half the stuff i went for. However, i did get more felt in a few different colors. I forgot the thread & other velcro & tags but at least i got enough to get me through tonight. I made the CUTEST clutch! I call it "You Cupcake! Clutch". I*m trying to come up with clever new names since i*m so "witty" and all. :) I thought about keeping it but it has to be shown to the world! So.. i WILL be making more but only with special orders. Family System

I*ve had a pretty good day today. My tummy has been hurting all day but thats about it. Jennifer has the flu so i hope I*m not getting what shes got! I have however been on a creative spree. I*m trying to get new things into Unique Charm. So I*m trying to do different things when i can. I recently got into making greeting cards & i love doing it. My mom stopped by for awhile to see me & bring our clothes :) I*ll be so glad when i get a car & I*m mobile again. I never thought I*d say this but i actually want to get a job! It will get me out of the house & I*ll have the money to do what i want to do. Justin lets me do as i please but i feel so guilty because I*m not helping. I made 2 more cards today that are going up tomorrow & i also added a pair of earrings & a bracelet. This is my only source of income so I*m trying because its getting really really low! I*m also trying to cook up a little something for father*s day. My dad went to the doctor last week & they called a few days ago & told him he needed a liver transplant. He*s so scared & you can tell, thats just not my dad. I wanted to thank all of you who helped me get Justin*s brother the guitar he wanted. I gave him the money i had raised & he bought waht he wanted. He was so happy & i wanted to thank everyone who helped me out. I*m going to try to sell everything i can to do something really special for my dad on father*s day. On that note.. here*s the new stuff today. The things i made today will be on tomrrows blog.
