Some Me Time. For A Day.

I got my business cards today from Vistaprint.com. They;re so cute! I have a few people i need to mail them to. I*m doing the www.outoftheboxsampler.com in November so i have to send some things i make. I think I*ll make some charms & other little things. It's pretty cool if you haven't seen it you should check it out. It seems like a great way to get out there & be seen. I didn't work today because mom gave me another day off to get stuff together. I*ve gotta wake up super early tomorrow. Justin has been getting home at 10:30pm every night because he has to close since another manager is on vaca. It sucks but what can you do.

September*s Game Plan..

I*m a little behind today, i cant get it in gear. Justin & I had so much fun last night. He got off work we had some friends over & I made us "sweet tarts". So we had some drinks & played guitar hero. Now i see why everyone says its better to play a little toasty. lol we had an excellent time. However today.....I*m behind on what i wanted to get done. :oP

I dont know why i didnt think of this before but tonight I*m going to make some hot tea & come up with all my sales & promotions for the month of September. I*m going to make a cute little flier & stick them in with all my packages. This way i can keep track myself & everyone will know what I*m doing in case they want to save some green at Unique Charm. Most of the sales & promotions will be available to UniqueCharm.net & UniqueCharm.etsy. Although one or 2 maybe targeted to etsy. I*m going to have to come up with a system. I use paypal so i dont know how to put in a code word(s) & make the percentage come off. I anyone knows could you please leave me a comment to let me know how? That would be greatly appreciated. Right now I*m just doing revised invoices. So..this is the game plan for tonight...wish me luck! :oP

Family System

I*ve had a pretty good day today. My tummy has been hurting all day but thats about it. Jennifer has the flu so i hope I*m not getting what shes got! I have however been on a creative spree. I*m trying to get new things into Unique Charm. So I*m trying to do different things when i can. I recently got into making greeting cards & i love doing it. My mom stopped by for awhile to see me & bring our clothes :) I*ll be so glad when i get a car & I*m mobile again. I never thought I*d say this but i actually want to get a job! It will get me out of the house & I*ll have the money to do what i want to do. Justin lets me do as i please but i feel so guilty because I*m not helping. I made 2 more cards today that are going up tomorrow & i also added a pair of earrings & a bracelet. This is my only source of income so I*m trying because its getting really really low! I*m also trying to cook up a little something for father*s day. My dad went to the doctor last week & they called a few days ago & told him he needed a liver transplant. He*s so scared & you can tell, thats just not my dad. I wanted to thank all of you who helped me get Justin*s brother the guitar he wanted. I gave him the money i had raised & he bought waht he wanted. He was so happy & i wanted to thank everyone who helped me out. I*m going to try to sell everything i can to do something really special for my dad on father*s day. On that note.. here*s the new stuff today. The things i made today will be on tomrrows blog.

Accidents Can Happen

So, since i have a load of time on my hands, I*ve decided I*m going to be making lip balms. I sold a few here a while ago but i had no idea all the regulations and everything. Now that I*m wiser to the fact i think I*m going to give it a try. I*ve made some for party favors & for the family but now I*m thinking of bringing them out to sale. I didn*t label the balms i*ve been giving out only because they were to family, i did give them a business card with the ingredients on the back. I*m doing alot of research so it may be a little while before lip balms are available at Unique Charm. I*m trying to find a good insurer, i know your supposed to have insurance when doing this in case it harms someone. I don*t feel comfortable googling this topic. I want to know someones opinion on who they are insured with, this is a sensitive subject so i want to get clearance I*m suppose to have. If anyone sells lip balms it would help me out a bunch if you felt comfortable enough to leave me a comment or an e-mail suggesting this.
