I need some perspective...Can i have yours?

I'm getting back into the swing of handmade things. I was trying to find placess to advertise & showcase my items. I was wondering how everyone else gets there stuff out there? I know blogging is a GREAT way & it helps but other than that, how do you do it? I'd be so grateful if anyone could tell me their little secret. I know posting a different item everyday helps but sometimes i can't do so. I was just wondering. I'm in the process of taking new photo's & coming up with new items. I don't plain to post them all at once just trying to get a few different things rolling. I use my facebook page too but thats full of mostly local friends, how do you guys use this to your advantage as well?

Twitter and the Etsy Forums work really well for me. I only use Twitter to list and promote items in my shop. I know what you mean about Facebook, lol. My friends and family are very supportive but not really my target audience. You can create a fan page on Facebook. I am thinking about doing that in the future.

I think most people use Etsy to sell their things.
