I think im going to take it easy this weekend, im still trying to catch up on things i fell behind on during the week. I just woke up from a 2 hour nap, this week has kicked my ass. As i've said before, I don't like being an adult. I'm thinking about getting what i need to start my new project this weekend but i haven't quiet figured it out yet. I am certain i'm going to get a foot massage & a pedicure tomrrow morning. My feet are hurting so bad. :oP I believe i'm going to Fayettville tomrrow night to see "Attrcting the Fall". They're awfully awesome, my brother will be making the journey with me. 2 hours by myself in a car at night would suck. The ipod helps but i cant see after the sun goes down. Sunday is both my grandad & my cousin's birthday so we'll be picnic side with them this weekend too. I hope everyone has a safe & happy weekend!

Friday can't come fast enough!

Hello you guys! I'm so glad it's almost Friday!!!! I need a break from work! A person can only take so much. I dream about power point presentations, book bindings, & Photoshop & Jasc design software! This week has flown by though. Without Ali ( Miss you!) at work it sucks because i'm fairly new & have no idea what the protocol on some of the rules are. Since we're located in Wakefield everyone seems to think they have an advantage because they're business people & sophiciated therefore they have to be right & everything has to be done right then! I think they all think im a magician, that i can magically snap my finger's & their designs will be done. I leave my wond at home when i'm at work. ( sorry! ) *happy dance* it'ss almost friday!

It's Almost Friday!

Today has been 1 of the longest day's it seems like! I got to work at 7:30am & didn't walk out the door until 5:30pm. Everyone went back to school today so you can imagine (some of you have even seen) the chaos. I'm so exhausted. I've stayed up late the past few nights & now it's really catching up to me, so needless to say i cant wait until Friday afternoon at 4pm! "Attracting the Fall" is playing in Fayetteville on Saturday & i've been invited to go, however.Fayetteville is like 2 hours from here! 

(More) New Projects are coming soon. I know i've said this a lot, but this time i mean it! It always seems like i never get a chance to finish anything because by the time i start i've already totally commited to something else (then the vicious cycle starts all over). You'll be seeing a lot of new things hanging around UniqueCharm.

How's Everyone's Sunday?!

I had off today from work but it was to pretty to stay inside all day. I was looking at my bookshelf last night & noticed my copies of "Sex, Murder and a Double Latte" & "Obsession, Deceit and Really Dark Chocolate" are gone. So i got on Barnes & Noble.com to see if i could find new copies of my favorite books. I haven't looked for any new books to read lately & i think i need more books. I love the mystery & thriller books. I noticed Kyra Davis has a few more books. I woke up & went to Barnes & Noble & found the books. They seem like they'd be good. I'll keep you posted. I also got a hangman book that is epically awesome! It has letters A-Z & silver scratch off's under the letters & the hangman outline on the other. You scratch off the silver under said letter & if theres any letters that match in the phrase it'll have the number's to put the letters but if not ya get a big fat "X".

I was doing some blog hopping before bedtime last night & came across mommies2cents, she had a post about something called "Project Night Night". The name intrigued me so i started reading & I've decided to send some newly purchased items to help! Here is the run down of "Project Night Night" (for more info go HERE).

homeless children who need our childhood essentials to feel secure, cozy, ready to learn, and
significant. Each Night Night Package contains a new security blanket, an age-appropriate
children's book, and a stuffed animal -- all nestled inside of a new canvas tote bag. By providing
objects of reliable comfort, Project Night Night reduces trauma and advances the emotional and
cognitive well-being of the children we serve.

Every child who receives one of our Night Night Packages leaves the shelter owning a book which
encourages reading and family bonding, a security blanket which can be cuddled, and a stuffed
animal which can become a cherished friend. We have one objective – to deliver our Night Night
Packages to every homeless child in the country who needs one.

Pillow pals, Cupcakes & Ipods!

I want a pillow pet!! I know you've seen these cute & fluffy little creations. I want the penguin, He's adorable! I've been so busy the past few weeks, by the time i get home i cant wait to go to bed. Ali ( our lead ) had a cortisone shot today because she has a herniated disc in her back. ( Get better soon Ali! ) I wanted to get in on the cupcake challenge ( hosted by Hoosier Homemade ) next tuesday ( who doesn't love cupcakes?! ) but i think i'll have to work 8-4 so by the time i get home it'll be 7pm before my cupcakes are done. :o( I might make them on Monday night & do the post Tuesday afternoon. Anyone else watch the cupcake wars? It comes on the food network every Tuesday night. You should get into it, if ya like cakes & challenges. They have all kinds of weird ( but delicious )ingredients on the fly. These people do have talent.

Im a little upset, I've had my ipod touch for about 6 months & the past few days ive taken it off the charger into my purse & to work. ( no good readio on in the morning & i hate commericals ) By the time i get off work & im ready to jam out...it's dead! Has anyone else had this problem? Could it be because we have wifi at work & it's trying to connect all day or is there something bigger?

Today is the only day i've had off work in a little over a week! I've been a little busy today though, but now it's time to slow down. For the next few ( 2 at least ) days i'll be working 8-4. I gave my giveaway packages to my mom to send off yesterday. She dropped by today & i found them in her car! Now the P.O is closed & i have to work & wont get to it tomrrow either. GAHH!

I was out today so i got some oil ( for the sewing machine ), fabric, zippers, & thread. I plan to calm down & relax. So i'll be doing some crafty sewing in the next few days. It's back to school so i'll be doing some pencil pouches. I'll also be adding a lot of unique & custom designs. It's time to get back into it. I love it & i miss it.
